Within the framework of the newly adopted UNESCO Water and Youth Flagship Initiative, Youth4Water, adopted by the Intergovernmental Council of the Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme (IHP) at its 27th session, UNESCO is preparing a global report on Meaningful Youth Engagement in the Water Sector and Youth Contributions to SDG 6, for launch at the 2026 UN Water Conference.
As part of the report’s data collection process, UNESCO is launching a public survey targeting young people, youth organizations, youth networks and young professionals engaged in water-related issues.
