The Water for Sustainable Development and Adaptation to Climate Change Centre (WSDAC) took part in a series of focus group discussions supporting the development of the UNESCO International Hydrological Programme (IHP) Citizen Science Strategy. WSDAC was represented by Marijana Miletić-Radić.
The consultation process brought together representatives of the UNESCO Water Family, international networks, and initiatives working at the intersection of citizen science and water management. Through its participation, WSDAC contributed to discussions aimed at strengthening the role of citizen science in fostering more inclusive, participatory, and effective water management approaches.
The outputs from all sessions will be synthesized and integrated into the draft IHP Citizen Science Strategy.
